These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quantum AI Canada platform, website, and related services. By creating an account, depositing funds, or using any feature of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, that's okay — but please don't use the platform.

We've tried to write this in plain language. There are still legal terms because there have to be, but we've avoided lawyer-speak wherever possible. If anything is unclear, email legal@quantumaicrypto.ca.

1. Who Can Use the Platform

To use Quantum AI, you must be at least 18 years old, be legally able to enter into a binding contract under Canadian law, and not be located in a jurisdiction where our services are prohibited. You must also pass our identity verification process, which is required by Canadian anti-money-laundering regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any lawful reason, at our discretion. We don't enjoy doing this and we rarely do, but the option needs to exist.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. That means choosing a strong password, enabling two-factor authentication, and not sharing your login with anyone. If your account is accessed by someone else because you shared your credentials, we cannot be held responsible for the resulting activity.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when signing up, and to update that information if it changes. If we discover false or misleading information, we may suspend or terminate your account.

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent platform limits, evade suspensions, or otherwise game the system. One person, one account. That's the rule.

3. What We Provide (and What We Don't)

Quantum AI provides software. Specifically, an AI-powered platform that analyzes crypto markets and executes automated trades on your behalf through partner brokerages. That's what we do, and we work hard to do it well.

What we do not provide:

Custody of your funds. We are not a brokerage. We do not hold your money. Your funds are held by regulated partner brokerages.
Financial, legal, or tax advice. Nothing on our platform constitutes professional advice. Talk to a qualified advisor for that.
Guaranteed returns. No one can guarantee trading results, including us. Anyone who does is lying.
Insurance against market losses. Trading involves risk. You can lose money. Please read the disclaimer page carefully.

4. How You Agree to Use the Platform

By using Quantum AI, you agree NOT to:

Use the platform for any illegal purpose, including money laundering, terrorism financing, or fraud
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe our proprietary algorithms
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with our website beyond the platform's intended features
Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the platform without our written permission
Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other users

Violations may result in account suspension, termination, and in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.

5. Fees and Payments

Our fee structure is published openly. We charge a small commission on successful trades and standard transaction fees on deposits and withdrawals, where applicable. There are no hidden fees, no surprise deductions, and no "premium tier" upcharges hiding behind your back.

Fees may change from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email and on our website. Continued use of the platform after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

6. Trading Risks You Accept

This section is important, so please read it carefully.

Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss. Markets are volatile. Prices can move quickly in either direction. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Quantum AI's algorithms are sophisticated, but no algorithm can predict every market movement, and losses are possible — including losses that exceed your initial deposit in certain conditions. You should never invest funds you cannot afford to lose.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and accept full responsibility for your trading decisions. Quantum AI is a tool. Tools can be used well or poorly. Use it responsibly.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Quantum AI website and platform — including the algorithms, software code, designs, logos, written content, and trademarks — is owned by Quantum AI Canada or our licensors. You may use the platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute our intellectual property without written permission.

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the platform, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them. We may or may not implement your suggestions, but if we do, we don't owe you anything for the idea. (We do appreciate it, though.)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Quantum AI, its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes lost profits, lost data, and trading losses.

Our total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $500.

This limitation does not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Suspension and Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting support. Funds in your account will be returned through the same channels they were deposited, subject to any holds required for regulatory compliance.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent activity, if we're legally required to, or if we discontinue the service. Where possible, we'll give you advance notice and the opportunity to withdraw funds.

10. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada.

You may also contact your provincial consumer protection authority or, where applicable, an industry ombudsman, for assistance.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Substantive changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via email and on this page. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you don't agree with an update, you can close your account before the change takes effect, and we'll process any pending withdrawals.
